What
our guests say...
Hi Andy – just wanted to say a big thank
you to you and your team at Itrek – we had a fantastic time
in Nepal and really appreciate how very smoothly everything went.
Shree was fabulous as were Ranjan and Suman. We had so much fun
and no hassles at all – even the strike in Pokhara was a
non-event for us because Ranjan organised some transportation
for us so we had a full day there and that was perfect –
massages, shopping and lots of sitting around!
It’s a crazy beautiful place and we loved every minute of
being there – even the four trillion steps we climbed daily!
Cheers and thanks again.

“I had the most amazing time! The company was
so professional from start to finish. The people are the kindest
and most generous I have ever met. I didn’t want to leave the
country and wish I had booked a longer trip.”
Angela C. - UK
“Emily and I just wanted to drop a quick
note of thanks now that we have had a week to reflect on our trip
to Nepal. We have tried several times to think of some suggestions
to offer that would further improve upon the iTrek service, but
are quite frankly unable to come up with anything! Among the best
trips of our lives, our experience in Nepal was as close to perfect
as one could ever reasonably hope for, and iTrek was much of the
reason why. Excellent communication prior to the trip (often on
short notice), ability and willingness to accommodate last-minute
requests (i.e. flights to/from Pokhara and the Mountain Flight),
extensive knowledge of the region by local staff, provision of
materials and information, friendliness and professionalism of
local staff (everyone), choice of accommodation (Bhaktapur Guest
House), cultural tours of Bhaktapur and Kathmandu, flexibility
to accommodate guests' needs and wishes....the list goes on. We
cannot think of a single area in which we felt anything less than
superbly served by your company.”
Patrick J. – Dubai
The overall experience was beyond expectations!
It was a most enjoyable adventure that was well planned by the
team at ITrek and our guide. We were very well taken care of every
step of the way.
I am very impressed with the level of efficiency
of the entire ITrek team. They were prompt and met all of our
needs – from greeting us when we first arrived at
Kathmandu to the time of our departure – it was almost door-to-door
service! My time in Nepal was made special because everything
just went so well and smoothly. We were briefed thoroughly ahead
of time and so were mentally prepared for the journey.
Bir’s knowledge of the mountains was most
impressive and his local network at the various lodges allowed
our stay to be as comfortable as possible. Our porter was
also very efficient and our rooms were always ready and waiting
for us wherever we arrived, so big thanks to them both!
Selina L. – Singapore
"This was my first attempt at trekking and
it could not have gone better. I will leave Nepal with very good
memories and I know I will be back! Everything was so well organized
that all I needed to do was concentrate on the trekking. Itrek
is to be congratulated on its planning and execution in every
aspect of the trip with great communication from the outset and
throughout."

"G'Day
Andy
Just wanted to drop you a short note to again express my gratitude
for providing me with the experience of a lifetime. From the moment
I arrived in Kathmandu, to the moment I departed, everything was
simply perfect. I was particularly impressed by the flexibility
of your staff and their willingness to allow me to change my itinerary
and their ability to provide a wonderful service, often at short
notice.
Please pass on my sincere thanks to Kumar and Pashang for their
professional, caring manner. Both men were wonderful ambassadors
for both your company and their country! The Thorong La pass went
without hitch. I am convinced that their experience and knowledge
of altitude trekking allowed me to get to 5416m without a single
headache or other illness. Also, express my gratitude to Shree,
who organised such a brilliant experience for me whilst based
in Bhaktapur. His friendly, sharing demeanour made me feel like
family.
Finally, please tell Nani that her advice re intent for the standby
flight worked a treat. Instead of spending a possible 53 hours
in Singapore, I landed at 8pm, cleared customs and was on my way
to Melbourne within 4hrs.
It was a real pleasure to meet the ITrekNepal team, to be guided
by your experience and benefit from your wisdom. My trip, quite
simply, was perfect!"

My husband and I wanted to take the time to let
you know about our trip to Nepal with your company. It was our
first time trekking and we were not sure quite what to expect.
Our expectations were not only met but exceeded at every level
of our trip by your company. I will recommend your company to
friends and family. During our time at the start and end of our
trip in Kathmandu, Shree was there to look after us all the way.
Nothing was too much trouble and he ensured that we were comfortable
at all times. He secured a fantastic room at Dwarika’s Heritage
hotel for us and it was a fitting end to a brilliant trip. Santa,
our guide, for our Everest short trip was superb in all aspects
of the trek. From setting a good comfortable pace to ensuring
our sleeping arrangements were met and comfortable, he made the
trek even more enjoyable. He even arranged a little candlelight
celebration on my husband’s birthday, which was a really
nice touch. With a great sense of humour, we all got on very well
and had a great time. Jetta the porter, deserves a special mention
just for his great smile and infectious laugh, along with always
being there waiting for us with our packs! The option of the two
day mountain biking trip gave us a more personal view of the Nepal
countryside. Rajdeep was great and made sure that we were comfortable
and well looked after. The awesome sight of Everest will never
leave us. But it really makes a difference when all the practicalities
(lodges, food, transport) of getting to that point are of a high
standard. iTrek and your staff made this trip even more special.
Emma J. - UK
I wanted to thank you for what turned out to
be one of the highlights of my life's travels. The trip you planned
was exactly what I wanted and needed at this point of my life.
What amazes me is that you were able to hear my wants and desires
when we both spoke on the phone and wrote back and forth. The
itinerary you put together was sensitive to my requests and therefore
presented me with a trip that was outstanding in all aspects.
As you know, this was my second trip to Nepal. However, the way
iTrekNepal operated under your guidance, afforded me an entirely
different understanding of the people, spirituality, myriad cultures,
and geography of this wonderful and struggling country. I really
thank you for that. The guides were particuarly helpful and engaging,
as was the staff in Nepal. The hotels you chose were perfect for
my needs at the right moments, and the switch from rafting to
Chitawan was a stroke of luck for me. I saw an entirely different
part of Nepal that included new geography, the endangered animals
of the park, and an insight into the Tharu culture. Wow!

Hi Andy,
Just a brief note to thank you and your staff
for my recent trek.
Rajesh was fantastic. You couldn't ask for a better host than
Shree so obliging and helpful and Agus (the porter) was very
very friendly and engaging. I absolutely loved Kathmandu and Nepal.
I am looking forward to coming back next Feb/March as I am interested
in the EBC Trek.
I have recommended your Company to family
and friends and hope that our "trekking" friendship
continues for many years to come. Nepal is absolutely amazing.

"Our week in Kathmandu Valley
with iTrekNepal was a stunner from start to finish. I had visited
Pashupatinath, Nepal's oldest and holiest Hindu pilgrimage spot
before, but after being there on the final days of Maha Shivaratri
in the company of our guide Shree, I came away with a much firmer
grasp of what the place is about.Dwarika’s Hotel tops my
list of favourite lodgings in the capital. While justly famous
for the Nepal’s largest collection of antique carved-wood
door and window frames, beautifully integrated into the hotel
architecture, Dwarika’s also deserves high marks for its
emphasis on environmentally friendly guestroom amenities, not
to mention the personal but unobtrusive service, outstanding dining
options and the coziest hotel pub in town. The location within
easy walking distance of Pashupatinath is an added bonus. In Bhaktapur
we enjoyed staying at the simple but very comfortable Bhaktapur
Guest House. The lodge’s quiet hillside location adjacent
to a natural reserve and quaint, village-studded valley offered
day-hiking options in addition to our forays into the old city.
Once again, Shree proved to be an extremely capable guide, taking
us through the lesser-explored alleys of this awe-inspiring Unesco
World Heritage site. One night we were treated to a hearty Newari
feast and bonfire sing-a-long with other iTrekNepal guides. An
overnight stay at Dwarika’s Himalayan Shangri-La Village
Resort, where we were again greeted with excellent service and
fine dining, topped off a perfect week in the Kathmandu Valley.”
Joe
Cummings. (author, Lonely Planet Guidebooks)
“The trip was amazing and the
team (Sri, Toran- the guide, his helpers) was amazing.
We have no words, all went beautifully. Thanks again, we will
be back in Nepal.”
Elzbieta I. - USA
All in all my stay in Nepal was one of the most
rejuvinating and life changing experiences for me. Shree
went above and beyond his call of duty for me and I can't thank
him enough. He helped me learn so much about the culture
and traditions of Nepal. So Thank you iTrekNepal for everything
and helping me see Nepal and all of its beauty. And
as they say in Nepali "Ma sadhai affno mutu lai samjhanchhu"
( I will always hold it dear to my heart)"
Veronica Y. - USA
My goal in looking for a trekking company when
planning my trip to Nepal was:
1. To find someone who would go where I wanted to go.
2. To find someone who would go when I wanted go.
3. To be safe whilst trekking at high altitudes.
4. To avoid traveling in lockstep as part of a large group so
as to be able to be reasonably flexible based on how I was feeling
and what my interests were.
I found that iTrekNepal met all of my needs very,
very well.
Shree met me at Kathmandu airport and from then
until he dropped me back there I felt personally valued and safe.
Arjun was my guide through the trek and his experience
and knowledge of the conditions on the route and the nature of
acclimitisation were key to a successful trek.
At some points I did not acclimitise easily and
he was able to vary our itinerary and activities to allow me to
get over these difficulties.
The breakfast fruit and bed linen at each lodge
were a great touch.
Finally, the Dwarika Hotel was a fantastic bookend
to the trip, both for it's heritage value and for the level of
comfort when you need to prepare or recover.
I will be recommending (have already started)
iTrekNepal and your trekking model to my family and work colleagues.
Thanks again to all my friends at iTrekNepal.
Shane Y. – Australia
"I just wanted to send over my thanks
to all at iTrekNepal for making my recent trip so special.
From the moment I arrived until the day I departed I was provided
with the highest levels of customer care - everything was done
to make all arrangements as smooth as possible.
A couple of special mentions:
- Shree went out of his way to make sure that
everything was taken care of for me - from providing a mobile
so I could ring home, posting postcards, changing my itinerary
at short notice when I finished my trek early. Nothing was too
much trouble, and it's that level of professional care which must
seperate you from your competitors.
- Dillman, my guide, was also fantastic.
His only focus was on making sure that everything was the best
for me - ensuring I had the best room, that my food was ok, I
had enough water. When I wanted to change my itinerary, he was flexbile
and professional. Those I met while trekking all wanted my guide
- very conscious of safety, experienced and knowledgable.
Those small touches - fresh fruit on the trek,
clean sheets, filtered water bottles - made the trek that bit
more enjoyable, and must put you ahead of your more established
rivals.
Thanks again to you and your colleagues for
making my trip so memorable. I'll be back!"

Just wanted to take a moment and let you
know what a great experience Michelle and I had. Everything was
perfect, starting from the pickup at the airport, over ground
support in Kathmandu, to transport to Pokhara and back. The (Annapurna)
trek itself was the experience of a lifetime. Santa was the perfect
guide and our porters worked incredibly hard to make our vacation
the ultimate adventure.Let me say that I am very impressed with
your organization and would definitely recommend iTrek to anyone
looking for the best team to work with for trekking in Nepal.I
feel that we had the best guides compared to other travelers we’ve
talked to, and it was great to know that Santa had everything
planned perfectly as far as the accommodations were concerned.
It was great to see that we had no issues whatsoever, in contrast
to other trekkers, who were battling communication problems and
struggled to comprehend the itinerary.
I must say it was worth every penny, and I feel good knowing that
you are working to support the Nepalese community of trekking
guides so professionally.

"I
wanted to give you some feedback regarding our trip to Nepal and
to let you know how we enjoyed our trip.
First and foremost, the
service provided by Shree and Ambir were absolutely excellent.
We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our trip and expect to return
sometime in the future to possibly do an Everest basecamp trek.
What we liked……
- Level
of service from Shree and Ambir (and his sister Beemola)
- Baktapur
– the temples, ambiance, and overall feel
- The
fact that Shree was always there to pick us up with the taxi
for all of the moves from the guest houses and airport
- Chocolate
provided by Ambir during the trek
- All
accommodations
- Dwarika
Hotel was an especially nice touch
- Ambir
always stressed that we could walk at our own pace during the
trek
- Certificate
of appreciation from Shree at the end of the trip
- Linens/bed
spread provided by I-trek during the trekking portion
- Cultural
guide and information given by Shree in Baktapur "
Peter R. - Canada
We just
wanted to express our sincerest appreciation for the amazing experience
we had with iTrekNepal. As you know our adventure started
out with a wee bit of drama with flight cancellations due to the
cyclone in Bangladesh which eventually lead to the loss of our bags.
The iTrekNepal Team went over and above the call of duty helping
us out with the lost bag dilemma and in the end your Team was responsible
for the recovery our lost luggage. For this we can not thank
you enough.
In a word, our Nepal trekking experience was phenomenal. Ambir and
Prakriti were the ultimate hosts on the trail and Shree outdid himself
as your representative in the Kathmandu Valley. Your guides are
truly well trained and very knowledgeable…they
showed us what life in Nepal is all about.
We will definitely return to the magical kingdom of Nepal and when
we do we will be calling on the iTrekNepal Team once again. We
wouldn’t want to do it without you.

"just wanted to drop
you a line to say thanks and that I had a fantastic time! - the
weather was great and I was blessed with some fantastic views! I
wound up just sticking with the Gokyo Ri trek - the altitude got
me when we got back down to the lodge at Gokyo, but not a shred
of disappointment, the view from up there was the most beautiful
thing I've ever seen in my life. And the culture that Santa showed
me was every bit as exciting as the mountain views - Santa is a
fantastic guide and great friend - I really enjoyed his company
- our Porter, Pudi, was also top notch. I felt very safe and comfortable
in their presence. Shree was also great - he took really good care
of me and made me feel very comfortable in Bhaktapur - which reminds
me, that place is really nice - quiet, slow paced, and much cleaner
than Kathmandu - really a nice place to stay after 30 hours of traveling
- and a nice quiet place to recover from a mountain trek - I would
recommend iTrekNepal to anyone interested in seeing the region and
I will definitely call you guys when I return to Nepal"
Matt A. – USA
“I just wanted to let you
know that I had a great trek with your company and especially enjoyed
having Santa as a guide. He was the best guide I could have asked
for, his intimate knowledge of the mountains and the culture was
fantastic and he shared so many great stories with us that I will
not soon forget. I could not have asked for anything better, the
service was excellent and all the people I met were very friendly.
I just wanted to thank you for making my first trip to Nepal a very
memorable one. I am definitely going to have to make plans to go
back again.”
Michael M. – U.S.A.
"Easily one of the most memorable
trips of my life, and the realization of my father's lifelong dream,
our trip to Nepal was incredible. I was initially concerned about
how my father would do with the climbing and long days of trekking,
but Dilman, Kala and Akirthi went above and beyond to make sure
we were comfortable. This was mine and my father's first trek ever,
and your staff made the experience one we will remember forever.
Also we want to express our gratitude to Shree and you Ambir for
being so flexible with our arrangements and trying your best to
fit everything in. My father was very happy that we had time to
see Boddhanath and Pasupathinath in our short visit. I cant wait
for the chance to come back to Nepal again, hopefully I'll stay
longer next time."
Gokulan S. - Canada
Just a quick e-mail firstly to say
that both Katie and I had a fantastic time on the trek to ABC!!!
and that Shree looked after us amazingly! He made our time in Nepal
feel really special!
Ellen T. – U.K.
"Overall our experience with iTrek
was great. I love that you guys are
flexible and accommodating with all our schedules and that you specialize
in
Nepal travel. We also very much appreciate that iTrek gives back
to Nepal."
Winnie C. - Singapore
“Sonia and I can say that we
were very satisfied with the service and attention we received
while we were in Nepal. Without doubt, the highlight was the 12
days of trekking. The scenery was beautiful and so different than
anything we'd ever seen. We especially enjoyed our time with Ambir,
Lakshmi and Schium. Ambir especially, treated us and watched over
us as if we were family. He was informative, entertaining and
accommodating to our requests. We especially liked the little
touches like the pillow cases and bed sheets. He always found
us the best available accommodations. We really felt that Ambir
was so proud to receive us as guests in his country. ”
Roland E. and Sonia F. - Canada
“Well, I have no words
to describe how wonderful a time I had in Nepal. From the moment
I arrived to departure time I was handled by iTrek’s GREAT
team. Such warm hospitality by Shree and Ambir - they took care
of every thing down to the smallest details. I enjoyed there every
moment while trekking.”
Yifat G. - Israel
“I wanted to let you know
that we had a great time and are extremely appreciative of the efforts
of you team, especially Shree and Toran. We both feel that it was
the trip of a lifetime and are looking forward to returning at the
next opportunity. Shree was both extremely helpful and tremendously
accommodating. He made the visits to Kathmandu and Bhaktapur both
rewarding and carefree. We can not praise him highly enough for
his efforts to ensure our enjoyment of Nepal. Toran was equally
helpful and accommodating on our trek. Both of the guys really did
make the trip for us. Thanks ever so much to the rest of the team
operating behind the scenes to ensure that all of the arrangements
were flawless.“
Rob S. – USA
“I wanted to get back to you with
a report of Steve and my trek to EBC back in early May. We
both had a great time. Shree was an excellent guide in Kathmandu.
Santa likewise was very helpful on the trek."
"Santa, Lalman, and the hired porter Pruti
provided excellent service during the trek. All of the guest
houses were very nice with on the whole well prepared meals.
Santa was good at accommodating our schedule deviations and acclimating
to our hiking speed and temperament.
All in all an excellent trip”
Matt H. - USA
"I too would like to comment that I thought
everyone working for I Trek Nepal did a fantastic job and was very
well organized. The website information was helpful, particularly
the packing information list.
It's hard to know what to expect when coming
to Kathmandu, but I felt very comfortable thanks to everyone.
Shree was an excellent host in Kathmandu. Shree was extremely pleasant,
very organized and knowledgeable, and was very resourceful in helping
with issues, ex. trek gear, photos, site seeing, and helping us
at the Indian embassy. Despite being busy with multiple clients,
Shree was very patient and made everything run smoothly. Shree also
took us to several Kathmandu and Bhaktapur places. After our huge
mistake not getting India Visas ahead of time, Shree helped us beyond
the call of duty everyway he could."
Steve K. - USA
